We also offer complete Kits which includes everything you need to replace the bottom of the garage door with channels, rubber seal and fasteners. Rubber seals are more durable and and flexible than vinyl, and withstands extreme weather temperatures ranging from -60 to 160 degrees. We sell generic seal products and they fit most residential and commercial doors.

Special Note: These bottom seal material is custom cut at time of order. Measurements are provided with each product for your determination, if you aren't sure which product will work for you call us request a free sample and we will mail you a small piece to test. Custom cut bottom seals are non-returnable.

Frequently Asked Question

Question: How do I know what bottom seal replacement I need?

Answer: You need to physically look at the bottom of your garage door and see if you have a single bulb, or a double channel. If you are still unsure what you have, you may consider purchasing an entire kit which includes the replacement tract and rubber seal.

Question: How do I install the Double T replacement channel?

Answer: Your older rubber should slide out of the channel tract, and simply slide the new rubber in. You may need to clean and lubricate the channel for the replacement to go in easily.

Question: Does the replacement rubber fit any garage door?

Answer: Our products are generic, and fit many types of doors. However, we have listed the measurements in each product category. It is best to measure your current door seal to be sure our seal will fit as a replacement. You should be able to slightly pull the bottom seal out of the tract and take a measurement. Still not sure - request a free sample and we'll mail you a small piece to test at no charge.

Question: Why do the replacement channels come in shorter increments?

Answer: UPS and FedEX have package size limitations. If an item is over 8' long then there is an oversize fee that UPS and FedEx charges that makes the item cost much higher. In order to keep prices down, the manufacturer has cut the channels down to shippable sizes. If a package is over 96" then UPS and FedEx won't ship it and it has to ship LTL truck which is extremely expensive.

Question: Why is vinyl cheaper than rubber?

Answer: The rubber is a thicker higher end material, and will generally outlast a vinyl product.

Install Instructions for Double Channel Kits

Installation Instructions:
I. Measure underside length of garage door, and cut plastic base and rubber to correct length.
2. Center plastic base on garage door bottom and fasten into position with screws provided.
3. Slide rubber into plastic channels.
4. On garage doors with guide rails: Slide one edge of rubber into position before fastening plastic base. Once fastened, insert inside flange of opposite rubber edge, and push outside flange into channel with screwdriver. Begin at either end of plastic base.
