Door Insulation
Radiant Barrier Reflective Wrap
Do it Yourself Installation
In hot climates the radiant heat
trapped in a garage raises the temperature at least 20 degrees
or more than the outside ambient air temperature. During
the winter, the insulation will help weather seal your garage
door keeping your garage warmer than the outside temperature.
During the summer garage door is
as much as 20 to 40 degrees higher than the outside
temperature.
The garage door acts as a
super-large radiant heater heating the garage.
The garage door Insulation wrap
reflects 97% of the radiant heat coming in from the door
keeping your garage up to 20 degrees cooler in the summer, and
keeping it warmer in the winter. With the added
insulation the garage will be better temperature regulated
thus lowering the energy consumption in the house.
Each panel is 21" x 48" and fits
most garage doors. There are 16 panels in a 2 car kit,
and 24 panels in a 3 car kit. Can be trimmed with
scissors if smaller fit is needed.
